How To Use Contact Lens Correctly
1. Do a comprehensive ophthalmology examination before fitting the glasses, and follow the optician’s instructions to review regularly after fitting the glasses.
2. Choose lenses with good air permeability and replace them in time, even if the lenses are not expired.
3. Soak new contact lens in care solution for 6~8 hours (daily throwing is not necessary). New care tools, including companion boxes, clips, suction sticks, etc., need to be washed with boiling water and dried before use
4. When wearing contact lenses, put the lens on right index finger to distinguish the front and back (The front is bowl-shaped and the back is dish-shaped). Then left thumb gently pulls the lower eyelid of eyes, left index finger gently pulls the upper eyelid of eyes, until black eyeball is completely exposed to the air, and let lens on right index finger move towards the eyeball slowly.
5. If there are some pollution such as protein precipitation, or the lens is deformed or discolored, you should change contact lens immediately.
6. Avoid wearing contact lens overnight. Do not wear lenses more than 12 hours, preferably 8 hours, and can wear spectacle frames alternately.
7. Keep good health habits of wearing contact lens, including cleaning, disinfection of lens case in time and keeping fingers free are clean when wearing contact lens and removing contact lens.
8. Don’t wear eye makeup when wearing contact lens and don’t keep long fingernails to avoid scratching or polluting lens and irritating eyes.
9. Choose high quality care solution to avoid allergic or toxic reaction and replace care solution every three days even if you don’t wear contact lens every day.
10. Don’t wear contact lens when swimming.
