Generally, after the age of 45, there will be insufficient adjustment force for close use, resulting in poor near vision. We commonly call it "old flower". After the appearance of old flower, the condition of eyes is myopia. When looking at far myopia glasses and near presbyopia glasses (front-view eyes see far and clearly, and presbyopia glasses are needed for close viewing), it also needs the alternation of two pairs of glasses. The experience of using glasses is very unsatisfactory. The progressive film can be perfectly satisfied. One pair can be used far and one pair can be used near. When selecting the progressive film for matching glasses, In addition to the accuracy of optometry data, we also need to pay attention to the importance of frame selection to avoid mined areas and give full play to the advantages of progressive films.

1:Material and frame type
In addition to accurate optometry, another important requirement for all lens parameters of progressive film is that the central position of pupil must be consistent with the lens, so we need the frame to be stable, not easy to deform and adjustable after deformation. Therefore, frameless and memory type frames are excluded, including frameless frames of all materials, injection molding frames, memory frames and non adjustable natural material frames.
2:Frame type
There is a fuzzy area on the nasal side and temporal side of the progressive film, which can not be avoided in the lens design. When selecting the frame, we should consider avoiding it as much as possible. The frame should not be too large, and the parts of the large frame that need to be cut will retain more fuzzy areas.
The proximal area of the progressive film is designed close to the nasal side, so we can't choose to cut off the frame with more nasal side.
In order to ensure that there is enough area for close and far viewing, the height of the mirror frame shall be at least 36mm to meet the requirements of cutting and assembly
3.:Nasal tray
The position of the nose support often has the problem of deformation and sliding. Wearing the progressive piece needs to be adjusted to the correct position, so we need a movable nose support that is more convenient to adjust. Excluding the fixed proportion support, we generally choose the "s" type nose support
4:Pile head
The pile head position is also considered to be adjusted, so the pile head style that is more convenient for adjustment is selected
