    Nowadays more and more children are addicted to their phone or computer. A data in 2016 shows that nearly half of children are myopic, caused by excessive use of eye. If parents don’t want children become a myopia, what’s kind of step they can take ?

1. Control Time

    Generally speaking, children can watch TV or play with phone properly after three years old. Parents need to control it within half hour. It’s better to set a time with children, which will also help children to get a good sense of time. If children still want phone or TV, you can attract them by souptoys, which are good for children’s intellectual development and hands-on ability.

2. Create Colorful Outdoor Activity

    A research shows that the probability of myopia can decrease to 10%-20% when children in 6-14 years old have 40 minutes outdoor activity. Parents can fly a kite or go to the zoo, take a picnic with children, etc. Not only can children reduce dependence on electronic product, but also can parents get more time to accompany children.

3. Teach By Example

    It is said that parents are the first teacher of children. Parents should pay more attention to your own action. Because children will imitate parents’ action and habits, when parents play cellphone all the time, children also will follow it.

4. Don’t Trust Medicine Blindly

    Many advertisements on TV or cellphone say they can protect children’s eyesight, price is not cheap. But after children eat, there are no any changes or improvements. Instead of eating medicine, it’s better to arrange diet scientifically, e.g food contains Vitamin A, vitamin C.

5. Regular Eyesight Test

    Parents can take children to hospital to do regular eyesight test and build establish archives. In daily life, parents also can often observe children when they read book, watch TV. If they squint or close to book, TV, parents can take them to hospital.
