Got Myopia How To Do?

Myopia is also called myopia, because this kind of eye can only see near, not far. To distinguish true and false myopia, in addition to optometry in the hospital, a simple method can hang an international standard visual acuity chart at a distance of 5 meters. Data show that the vast majority of myopia occurs in the physical growth and development period of children and adolescents. If nutrition can't keep up or children have poor appetite, picky eating and anorexia, it will lead to children's lack of nutrition, thus contributing to the emergence of myopia. Ophthalmologists tell us that it is very important to prevent myopia and form five habits.

1、 It's the habit of using your eyes
When reading and writing, neck flexion can easily lead to myopia. Parents should help the doll develop a good sitting posture. It is important to keep the doll's neck upright.
2、 Life is regular
To go to bed early and get up early, we should ensure adequate sleep and moderate rest. The school should properly arrange students' work and rest time. During the rest time, we should do eye exercises or outdoor sports to ensure that our eyes can rest.
3、 Pay attention to personal hygiene
Wash hands, hair and feet frequently, change clothes frequently, keep the room clean, avoid children's partial eating or overeating, so as to absorb appropriate nutrition, and eat more fresh vegetables and nutritious foods, such as milk, eggs, liver, etc.
4、 Happy spirit
Don't worry about depression and take part in more cultural activities. Continue to use your eyes for an hour, rest, use your eyes in sufficient light, and when using a desk lamp, the light should preferably come from the left side of the person.
5、 Regular inspection
Check your eyesight regularly to avoid delaying treatment. In particular, primary and middle school students should put an end to video games and watch TV no more than 2 hours a week.
Reminder:
For the prevention and treatment of vision, parents and children should work together, parents should strengthen supervision, and children should enhance their awareness of prevention, so as to effectively improve children's vision.

How to check if you have myopia?
1. Strictly speaking, myopia should be based on the refractive diagnosis (static diopter) of the eye. At present, the diagnostic basis can be summarized as follows: vision diagnosis: that is, those with near vision ≥ 1.0 and far vision < 1.0 are myopia (different visual acuity charts are used, and there are different recording methods. If it is a standard logarithmic visual acuity chart, the record of low and far vision should be < 5.0). For men < 0 years old and women < 45 years old, the near visual acuity should be 1.5, and the difficult examination distance should be 25cm.
2. Refractive diagnosis: that is, myopia (≥ - 0.25D) in retinoscopy under ciliary muscle paralysis. The theoretical diagnostic criteria should be: far vision < 1.0, eye axis length > 24mm, adjustment of retinal image under paralysis as myopic refraction (the minimum diopter is at least ≥ - 0.125d). However, in terms of current conditions and level, it is difficult to be so accurate and clear.
3. Fundus diagnosis: no matter what type of myopia, you should check the fundus, which can preliminarily estimate the weight of myopia and true and false myopia. Generally, there are myopia arc spots and leopard shaped fundus changes, which can be diagnosed as true myopia, and its diopter is about - 300D or higher. Some are accompanied by macular degeneration and bleeding. If the fundus is normal, it may be mild myopia or pseudomyopia. An experienced ophthalmologist can estimate the approximate refractive state according to the diopter on the ophthalmoscope.
How does myopia do?
The "treatment" methods in the differential treatment of true and false myopia include excimer laser keratectomy (PRK) and laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). Under the control of computer, a part of the tissue cells of the corneal anterior elastic layer and stromal layer are decomposed by laser to form tiny volatile fragments and flatten the corneal curvature, To achieve the purpose of correcting myopia.
