The Dragon Boat Festival, one of China's four traditional festivals, is celebrated in a variety of ways that not only reflect the deep cultural connotations, but also serve as an important time of unity, prayer and entertainment for the Chinese people. Here are some of the main ways of celebration. 

Also known as the Dragon Boat Festival: Dragon boat racing is a classic activity of the Dragon Boat Festival, where people team up to row dragon boats and compete for speed and strength. This tradition symbolizes strength and unity and stems from the ancient legend of people rowing in search of Qu Yuan.

Zongzi, steamed food made from glutinous rice wrapped in zongzi leaves, is one of the traditional Chinese festival foods. As one of the traditional foods with the deepest accumulation of Chinese history and culture, zongzi have spread far and wide.
