Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games
The XXIV Olympic Winter Games, also known as The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, are scheduled to open on Friday, February 4, 2022, and close on Sunday, February 20. The Beijing Winter Olympic Games will consist of 7 events, 15 events and 109 events. Beijing hosts all ice events; Yanqing Competition Area is responsible for bobsled, luge and alpine skiing events; Zhangjiakou's Chongli district is responsible for all snow events except snow clearing, sledding and alpine skiing.
On September 17, 2021, the theme slogan of the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games -- "Together toward the future" was released. On October 18, the flame of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games was lit in Greece. On October 20, the flame of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games arrived in Beijing. The recruitment of volunteers for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games has been basically completed, and the training of volunteers for the Games is in full operation. On November 15, a new music video promoting the theme slogan of the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games "Together towards the Future" was officially launched across the platform. On November 16, 2021, "Together for the Future -- Beijing Winter Olympics Promotion" was held at the China Cultural Center in Paris, France. More than 100 people from the cultural, artistic and sports circles of China and France, as well as representatives of overseas Chinese, attended the event. On the morning of December 3, The State Council Information Office held a press conference.
On February 2, the Olympic torch relay will be launched in Beijing. Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), said at a press conference in Beijing on Feb 6 that the Beijing Winter Olympics have made history by bringing the Culture and splendor of the Games to more people at an unprecedented digital level, which has left a new technical standard for the Games.

The women's freestyle skiing grand jump final of The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games was held at the Shougang Ski Grand jump in Beijing, capital of China, Feb. 8, 2018. China's Gu Ailing won the gold medal.
Gu Ailing of China won the silver medal in the women's freestyle ski slopestyle final at the Beijing Winter Olympics on February 15. It was her second medal of the Games after gold on the platform.
