Attention! These People Don't Wear Sunglasses
Although the applicability of sunglasses is very wide, many people do not know that not everyone is suitable for wearing sunglasses, especially the following five categories of people. They must not wear sunglasses for beauty, but hurt their eyes.
Glaucoma patients
When wearing sunglasses, the visible light entering the eye decreases and the pupil will naturally open. This change of pupil has no effect on healthy people, but for glaucoma patients, it increases the obstacle of aqueous circulation in the eyes, and is easy to induce acute attack of glaucoma, such as redness, eye pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, sharp decline of vision and other symptoms. Therefore, people with glaucoma or suspected glaucoma should not wear sunglasses.
Color blindness
Panchromatic blind people wearing sunglasses have little effect. However, some color blind patients lack the ability to distinguish only a few colors. When wearing sunglasses, they are even more unable to distinguish colors.
Night blindness patients
Night blindness is caused by lack of vitamin A, which affects vision in dim light. Wearing sunglasses will weaken the light filtering, cause vision loss and even blindness.
Patients with optic neuritis
Wearing sunglasses will aggravate the optic nerve conduction disorder in patients with optic neuritis and affect the recovery of the disease.
Children
The visual function of children under six years old has not developed to a normal level. If you wear sunglasses for a long time, it will affect children's visual development and may even lead to amblyopia.
But not all people suffering from eye diseases can wear sunglasses. For patients with cataract, keratitis, conjunctivitis, retinal detachment, etc., wearing sunglasses can promote the recovery of the disease as soon as possible. So before wearing sunglasses, you must make sure your eyes are in order to better protect your eyes.
