Analysis of sunglasses material board
There are several types of lens materials for sunglasses:
1. Resin lenses: Resin lenses are a lightweight material suitable for people who wear them for a long time. It has good impact resistance, but is relatively easy to scratch.
2. Glass lenses: Glass lenses are a relatively traditional material with good optical performance and scratch resistance. However, it is relatively heavy and prone to breakage, making it unsuitable for high-intensity outdoor activities.
3. PC lenses: PC lenses are a high-strength material with good impact resistance and scratch resistance. It is lighter than resin lenses, more durable than glass lenses, and suitable for high-intensity outdoor sports.
4. TAC lenses: TAC lenses are cellulose triacetate lenses composed of cellulose triacetate and plastic compounds, which are lightweight, impact resistant, UV resistant, anti glare, and scratch resistant.
5. Nylon lenses: Nylon lenses are sunglasses lenses made of nylon material, which are lightweight, impact resistant, UV resistant, anti glare, scratch resistant, and have strong plasticity.
6. Mineral glass lenses: Mineral glass lenses are a high-end material with good optical performance and scratch resistance. It is lighter than ordinary glass lenses, but relatively fragile and prone to breakage.
Overall, different lens materials are suitable for different usage scenarios and needs. When choosing sunglasses, one needs to make a choice based on their own needs and budget.
So how about the sunglasses materials? There have 4 aspects.
1、 Glass sheet
Glass sheet is a traditional material currently used in the production of sunglasses, with excellent optical properties. Its main advantages are high clarity and wear resistance. However, glass panels also have some drawbacks, such as being fragile, heavy, and expensive. In addition, glass panels have poor breathability and are prone to water mist, making them less suitable for use in high-temperature environments.
2、 Resin board
Resin sheet is a lightweight and cost-effective material with significant advantages. On the one hand, resin sheets are lighter and less burdensome to the eyes than glass sheets; On the other hand, resin sheets have good light transmittance, good UV protection effect, and are relatively inexpensive. However, this material also has some drawbacks, such as being prone to scratches and not resistant to high temperatures.
3、 PC board
PC board is a high-strength, low-weight sunglasses material that can withstand significant impact forces. Its main advantages are lightweight, high strength, good breathability, and moderate price. However, the hardness of this material is not as good as that of glass and resin sheets, which are prone to scratches and require careful protection.
4、 Fiberglass board
Fiberglass sheets have high strength and hardness, making them a widely used sunglasses material. It also has advantages such as UV protection and scratch resistance, making it widely used in sports sunglasses. However, fiberglass panels also need to be carefully maintained to avoid strong impacts.
In short, different materials have different characteristics and application scenarios, and selecting appropriate materials can improve the effectiveness of sunglasses. When purchasing or producing sunglasses, comprehensive consideration should be given to factors such as usage, material characteristics, and price.
