One: Plastic frame (mainly: PC, plastic steel, TR, sheet material, Hymani)
1. Injection molding material: injection molding process is to melt plastic rice (currently mainly for PC, plastic steel, TR), injected into the mold cooling molding. The advantages are that the size stability of the whole batch is high, the processing speed is fast, and the comprehensive cost is low. The disadvantage is that most of the surface spray paint treatment, not wear-resistant and easy to fade, easy to peel off the paint layer. The details are as follows:
A. PC material: It is the material once marketed as "space film", more than 10mm is bulletproof glass. Advantages: The material price is lower. There is a certain amount of flexibility. Resistant to impact (that's why they're called space chips), chapped but not cracked. Disadvantages: surface spray paint is not environmentally friendly, the paint layer is easy to peel off. The comfort is poor and the durability is not good. The frames cannot be adjusted for different face shapes.
B. TR material: Currently used in a large number of materials. Excellent flexibility, once marketed as "memory plastic". Advantages: High transparency of material. Good flexibility, can accommodate the needs of different sizes, extrusion resistance (will break due to the addition of recycled materials). The texture is very light. Disadvantages: surface spray painting treatment, not environmental protection, poor paint painting technology will quickly peel off the paint layer (good about 2 years). Because the elasticity is very good, the frame can not be adjusted, and the softness of the frame also gives the poor processing lens master the maximum tolerance, that is to say, the poor lens is easy to put into the frame.
C. Plastic steel material: also known as tungsten titanium, more and more popular in the recent 2 years. Advantages: Better strength and surface hardness than TR. Slightly less flexibility than TR and more flexibility than PC. Light weight. Because of its high strength, it can make a very thin ring shape, and it can make the ultra-thin frame closest to the metal frame. Of course, there are not many enterprises that master this technology. The surface paint layer has high adhesion. Disadvantages: the surface of the matte texture, the need to spray paint treatment, the painting technology is very high, the technology is not up to the standard of the frame after spray painting will lead to the frame easy to break.
D. Carbon fiber: mainly used for decorative accessories and mirror feet Advantages: light texture, high strength, high temperature resistance, surface has a unique texture. Disadvantages: large bending is easy to break.
2. Acetate material: pre-made into plate (about 5-8mm) raw materials, and then cut into the required frame or mirror foot shape according to the actual needs.
A. Cellulose acetate material: the most board materials on the market, almost all board materials on the market are cellulose acetate. Advantages: High surface hardness. No surface treatment, noble texture. Wear well. Appropriate comfort adjustments can be made according to different face sizes. It is a mature material widely used in glasses products of international clothing brands.
Disadvantages: The material is hard and the comfort is poor if the adjustment is not appropriate. Acidic ingredients do not match PC lenses (which can cause cracking). It's heavy. Will be flat (because it is made of flat plate cutting) need to be adjusted, the mirror foot needs copper core shape.
B. Hymani Material: not many on the market, but it has been in the foreign market for more than 6 years.
Advantages: The materials on the market perfectly solve the wrapping contents (flaky real dried flowers, stainless steel sheets, denim, lace, etc.), presenting a more three-dimensional and layered sense of texture. Surface without spray paint electroplating treatment, durable. Lighter texture than cellulose acetate. It is also more flexible than cellulose acetate. The frame can be adjusted to fit the face. Disadvantages: Surface hardness is lower than cellulose acetate. The surface texture is not as good as cellulose acetate.
