1.I. Material type
There are currently four types of eye lenses on the market: hydrogels, silica hydrogels, non-ionic and PC lenses.
A.Hydragel/HEMA
The hydrogel material is a common material.Its advantage is very soft and comfortable, cosmetic pupil choice is very much, the price is relatively cheap.But the disadvantages are also obvious: the lens is thicker, the wearability is obvious, the oxygen permeability ability is relatively average, and the protein precipitation is easy.Nevertheless it is all respect compares average and general only, the quality that regular manufacturer produces still does not have a problem.It's generally better for very healthy eyes.
B.Silicone Hydragel
Silicon hydrogel is based on the addition of silicon hydrogel, oxygen permeability is 5-8 times that of ordinary materials, wearing a day will not be tired.The downside may be that the lenses are too hard.If your eyes tend to dry out, choose the right one.
C.Polymacon/2-HEMA
Advantages are not easy to absorb protein precipitation, so it is very easy to clean, the upper eye comfort is also super high, and the lens is not easy to age, long service life.The downside is that it doesn't retain as much moisture as silicone hydrogels, and the lenses are too soft and tear easily.
This kind of material is most suitable for the sensitive eyes with foreign body sensation and red blood silk when wearing cosmetic contacts at ordinary times.
D.Phosphoryl Choline
PC material is not very common, with high oxygen permeability and moisture retention, and it is not easy to be infected with proteins and foreign bodies. At present, PC material is the best material in cosmetic lenses.
Sensitive eyes and operated eyes are recommended to wear PC materials.
2.B.C.
Base arc refers to the degree of contact lens bending, the smaller the value of the more curved (" base "arc ah), the larger the value of the flatter.If the base arc is too large, the pupil will slide easily, while if the base arc is too small, the eye will be easily congested and deprived of oxygen
