Care of optical glasses

  1. When picking up and wearing glasses, use both hands to prevent the frame from getting deformed. When not wearing them, store them in a glasses case to prevent the lenses from coming into contact with hard objects and getting scratched.
  2. To clean the lenses, first rinse them with water to remove any loose dust, then use a glasses cloth to wipe them clean in a single direction. If there is a lot of oil or dirt, use a neutral detergent to clean the lenses, then rinse them thoroughly with water.
  3. For resin lenses, avoid exposure to high temperatures, such as in a sauna, directly washing with hot water, or leaving them exposed to direct sunlight on a car's windshield for a long time, as this can cause damage to the lens coating. Additionally, exposing the lenses to steam or hot oil during cooking or using a hair dryer to blow-dry them can also cause damage to the lenses.
  4. Regularly check the screws on the glasses to ensure they are tightened properly, and promptly tighten them if they become loose. Also, regularly check the glasses for any deformation and have them adjusted professionally if necessary. Finally, resin lenses can wear and corrode over time, so it is recommended to replace them every 2-3 years, depending on the degree of wear and tear.
