Xinjiang is the main cotton producing area in my country. In 2020, Xinjiang's cotton output will reach 5.161 million tons, accounting for 87.3% of the country's total cotton output. In the entire Xinjiang, a total of 61 counties, municipalities, and 110 corps farms grow cotton. Nearly half of the farmers are engaged in cotton production. The income from cotton contributes 30% of the net income of Xinjiang farmers. In recent years, the development of mechanization in Xinjiang's plantation, animal husbandry, and characteristic agriculture has accelerated significantly, and information, intelligent, and precision agricultural machinery and equipment have been widely used in agricultural production. In 2020, the mechanical picking rate of Xinjiang cotton will reach 69.83%, and that of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps will be 90.9%.
